About me

I’m Mirjana—a licensed guide, storyteller, and founder of The Storyteller Croatia.

My background is in entrepreneurship, consulting, and hotel management. Over time, I chose to focus on what matters most to me: walking, listening, and sharing stories that connect people to place.

Alongside guiding, I work on interpretive and storytelling projects across Croatia—researching local history, recording interviews, listening to personal memories, and tracing the myths and legends that still live in the landscape. It’s work rooted in respect: for the past, for the people who remember, and for those who will come after us.

My tours are slow, thoughtful, and always personal. I guide small groups through Split and beyond—sharing spaces that are often overlooked, and stories that are easy to miss.

I’m also an amateur photographer and videographer. I love film, books, conversations, and the kind of moments that stay with you after the walk ends.

Above all, I love connecting my city to the world—and making sure the stories we carry don’t get lost.
