About

Some places are best understood through their people. Split is one of them.

This tour isn’t about rushing from one landmark to another. It’s about feeling the city’s rhythm, seeing how history and daily life blend, and understanding why locals wouldn’t trade this place for anywhere else.

We start as Splićani do—over coffee. No rush, no schedule, just the chance to take in the atmosphere and get a sense of the city’s easygoing way of life.

From there, we move through Split’s streets, stopping where life happens:

  • Diocletian’s Palace, where 1,700 years of history are still alive in the homes, courtyards, and hidden alleys.
  • The Green Market, where vendors call out daily specials, neighbors catch up, and traditions continue as they have for generations.
  • Side streets and quiet corners, the places that don’t make it into guidebooks but tell you more about a city than any monument ever could.

Along the way, you’ll hear about the people who shaped Split—fishermen, merchants, rebels, and families who built their lives inside these walls. Every generation left its own mark, creating a city that’s always changing yet always true to itself.

By the end of the tour, you won’t just know Split—you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into its story.
